It is a unique moment when you see the first fabric you designed yourself spread out in front of you in all its glory.
But what happens next? Every piece of fabric that is processed in my workshop is first washed in an environmentally friendly way and then dried in the fresh air. After this step, the ironing takes place and then you can get started.
Yes, that means I have to cut into the fabric. That was a moving moment for me.
There were so many ideas floating around in my head about what I wanted to do with the material. But I had to stop myself and take a step back to decide what I wanted to process.
Regular exchange meetings with Julia took place over the next few weeks and months. We thought about which products we would like to implement and what it would take.
The result is impressive; it has become an extensive collection.
What have we done?
- Notebooks in different sizes.
- A5 notebooks, with dots, lined or blank pages
- Small spiral books
- Gift boxes
- Washi tape
From the smallest to the largest notebook format, I bound them all with the canvas from our Autumn Garden collection. No two are alike and I am very pleased to be able to exhibit our collection at KunstHandWerk Seen on October 27, 2023.
Come by and receive a small gift!
